Despite the icy winter weather with icy roads in Jefferson city, the Sierra Leone Association Choir travelled to St. Louis on Sunday February 2, to kick off black history month celebration at Ascension Episcopal Church. Dressed in our native costumes, the choir accompanied by the talented Miss Cailyn Buck on the piano, rendered 2 songs in Krio and ended the service with the association thank you song 'tell am tenke'. The service was followed by a dinner at the Parish Hall.
